The Hospitality Hub is thrilled to announce the following new members of our leadership team! As the organization expands in preparation for the opening of the new Hub Campus this summer, we have hired four incredible new staff and promoted two existing staff into new leadership roles. Join us in welcoming these accomplished and skilled new people to our team!
Marsha served on the Board of Horizon Housing, an organization that provides housing for homeless adults and their children, for over seven years. She has extensive experience in regulatory compliance, strategic planning, budget management, and has supervised, mentored, and coached hundreds of individuals over her professional career.
Originally from Hong Kong, Serrie spent more than a decade working in marketing and communications in the nonprofit sector there.
In 2019, she moved to Memphis to be with her now-husband, where she started her own consulting business to help small nonprofits communicate better and bring their mission to life. Through this work, she has worked on a number of issue areas including child welfare, youth, menstrual health, and refugees.
During the pandemic, Serrie realized that she wanted to do something more hands-on and with local impact here in her adopted home, and she is thrilled to be joining the Hub team!
Outside of work, Serrie also volunteers with the Mariposas Collective to assist asylum seekers who have recently been released from detention as they transit through Memphis and with GIVE 365 to change how individuals think about philanthropy.
